Resistance of High Strength Concrete to Cold Weather Environments
1992
This report describes an experimental laboratory evaluation program which was conducted on several high strength concrete mix designs in order to ascertain the effects of various air entrainment level in the short and long-term performance of high strength concrete. The project included comparisons in slump, strengths, freeze-thaw cycling performance, chloride ion penetration, permeability, deicer scaling, and microscopical air void analyses.
